Utilizing TEXIGHT® for Sentiment Analysis for generating effectiveness and efficiencies in the Financial Research process for a mid sized financial company
TResearch teams at Asset Management firms spend a lot of time reading through news articles and even social media to determine the alpha. However, the process is highly manual and time consuming.
To address this issue we have created an NLP based solution which leverages the news articles (latest) and twitter data to calculate the sentiment score for a financial company and this sentiment score may then be used in evaluating the alpha.

The Client, providing service to over 20MM guests worldwide, wanted analytics driven process to identify the scope of improving customer satisfaction level through better service. Analyttica’s proprietary text analysis and sentiment engine (TEXIGHT®) could analyse customer reviews from social media handles to identify negative reviews with the help of NLP in almost real time and send them to respective team to resolve.

Leverage of TEXIGHT® to build a framework to explain Natural Language Processing Models using LIME and SHAP algorithms for a mid sized Technology company.
With the simultaneous rise of data and computation power, organizations and practitioners are leveraging the same to model the patterns in data and “educate” machines, using complex machine learning and deep learning techniques such as tree-based models and neural networks.
However, due to the black box nature of these models, it is relatively difficult to convince stakeholders to trust the predictions – especially crucial in mission critical settings such as Healthcare, Finance, Criminal Justice System, Autonomous cars and many more.
In this use case, we leveraged TEXIGHT® to build a prototype solution for a mid sized Technology company to delve into a framework to explain the decisions taken by NLP models on a binary classification dataset using LIME and SHAP.
